The band Bella Ruse will be playing at The Coffee House on Main in Austin on Saturday, Sept. 10. The show is at 7:30 p.m., and tickets are $5. Local musician William Hoy will open.

In the last two years, Bella Ruse has made a commitment to reducing their impact on the environment. They’ve been on three national tours traveling in a tour van powered by vegetable oil, including a trip to Lilith Fair opening for Sarah McLachlan and Metric in 2010. They fully funded a full-length album, Kuhzoo, via Kickstarter.com with the support of fans all around the world and used post-consumer content products for the packaging.
