Labor Day weekend is coming up, and there are a few events available in the area. Many people will likely be camping and enjoying the last days of summer before school and fall begin.

Friday

• Cruise Albert Lea Lake on the Pelican Breeze II at 6 p.m. Cost is $15, and reservations are needed by 4 p.m. by calling 507-383-2630.

Saturday

• The Albert Lea Farmers Market starts at 9 a.m. and goes until noon in the North Broadway Avenue parking lot.

• The Disc Golf Border Cup will be held starting at 10 a.m. at Bancroft Bay Park and Riverland Community College. The competition is between the Flying Lea Disc Golf Club and the Northwood Disc Golf Club.

• The Pelican Breeze II cruises at 4 p.m. No reservations are needed and cost is $10.

• The North Broadway Cruise-in will be held from 4 to 10 p.m. in the North Broadway Avenue parking lot. The social gathering has food vendors and no awards for participants.

Sunday

• The Pelican Breeze II cruises at 1:30 p.m. No reservations are needed and cost is $10.
