Man drives off with gas

A man traveling in a black car drove off with $14 in gas Monday from a station on 1210 E. Main St. at about 3:33 p.m.

According to police reports, it was unclear which direction the man was going.

Bike stolen from yard

A green BMX bike was reported stolen from the front yard of 517 Pillsbury Ave. at about 8:24 p.m. Monday. The bike was last seen heading north, according to police reports.

Man collides with grain wagon

Alan Brown, 81, of Stewartville, was transported to the Albert Lea Medical Center with severe injuries after running into the back of a grain wagon Sunday at 7:25 p.m., according to police reports.

Edward Wichmann, 65, of Alden was traveling eastbound on County Road 17 with two wagons behind his tractor when the accident occurred.

According to reports, the tractor had flashing amber lights and there was an orange triangle and slow-moving vehicle sign on the rear wagon. Wichmann was not injured.

Two cited for underage drinking

Just after midnight Sunday, after investigating a report of underage drinking at Erica Hall&8217;s residence at 105 First Ave., Myrtle, Levi Bachtle, 20, and Amber Burkart, 19 were cited for underage drinking, according to reports.

Man arrested on outstanding warrant

After stopping a vehicle for speeding on Bridge Avenue at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, police identified the driver as David Lopez. Lopez had a warrant for his arrest out of Virginia for possession of coccaine. Upon searching the vehicle, police found what they believe to be coccaine and charged him with fifth-degree possession of an illegal substance.

Woman arrested for meth possession

Jayne Stout-Manuel was stopped while driving the 200 block of Pearl Street for driving after suspension of her license. After searching the vehicle, police arrested her for possession of meth, according to police reports.

Cable stolen

On Saturday, Union Pacific employees reported the theft of 50 feet of copper cable being laid out to install new arms. The stolen cable is valued at $400, according to police.

Woman arrested for DWI

Rachael Hagen, 21, of Albert Lea was arrested on DWI charges after being found behind the wheel of a running vehicle after police arrived to investigate a possible fight and loud music complaint 3:20 a.m. Saturday at 421 W. Clark St., police said. Ozzy Degroote, 20, was cited for illegal consumption, according to police reports.

Skid loader reported stolen

A skid loader was reported stolen from Jeff Nielsen Sales on Eberhart Street at 9:14 a.m. Sunday. The loader was a yellow and black 2005 John Deere CT 322, with rubber tracks and an approximate value of $35,000. It was there under consignment and the owner had not yet been reached, according to police reports.
