Milton Bremer, 95, Albert Lea

The memorial service for Milton (Hank) Bremer of St. John&8217;s Lutheran Home, Albert Lea, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, at Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel, Albert Lea. The Rev. Jeff

Laeger-Hagemeister will officiate.

Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Bonnerup Funeral Service and one hour prior to the service.

Milton died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006 at St. John&8217;s Lutheran Home.

He was 95 years old.

Milton was born Sept. 8, 1910, in Freeborn County to Emil and Emma (Evenson) Bremer.

He

was raised in the Glenville area and attended country school south of Glenville

Milton was a member of First Lutheran Church, Glenville.

He worked

for a Cattle Ranch near Gordon, Neb.

Milton also worked for Wilson and Company. Milton liked horses.

He enjoyed gardening, doing yard work, working on his cabin up north on Lake Tuliby.

Milton enjoyed spending time with his family, but especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Milton is survived by five children:

Peggy (Jerry) Peterson of Glenville, Dick (Mary) Bremer of Austin, Bonnie Bruegger of Mankato, Dave (Kayla) Bremer of Glenville and Jackie Myran of Albert Lea;

grandchildren:

Jay Prizler, Dawn (Brad) Scholz, Cory Bremer, Amy Bruegger, Trent Bruegger, Nick Bremer and his special friend Jessica Jacobsen, Adam Bremer, Lauren Bremer, Ariel Myran and Keri (Seth) Stadheim;

five great-grandchildren; sister: Evelyn Neises; and brother Leland Bremer.

Milton is preceded in death by his parents; wife: Antoinette;

sister Agnes Wold; brother Lawrence Bremer; infant brother; brother Everett Bremer; and sister Lila Newby.
