Memorial services for Cindy Marie Crawford, of Albert Lea, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, at the Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel. The Rev. Paul Aldrich will officiate. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5 until 7 at the Funeral Home.
Cindy died Friday evening, Sept. 1, 2006, at Albert Lea Medical Center. She was 47 years of age.
Cindy was born Nov. 3, 1958, in Albert Lea, the daughter of Lyle and Caroline (Schwartz) Attig. She attended Albert Lea Public Schools. On May 29, 1993, she was united in marriage to James Crawford. Cindy worked at the Vets Whoa-n-go and at Viracon in Owatonna. She enjoyed fishing, camping, partying, crocheting, playing cards and visiting with friends and family. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and her special friend &8212; her dog Molly.
Cindy is survived by her husband James; mother Caroline Attig of Albert Lea; children; Onnah and her husband Dave Nolan of Dodge Center, Alex of Albert Lea and Adam of Albert Lea; and one unofficially adopted son, Garth Conklyn. Surviving grandchildren include Lilly, Andrew, Zander, Sam and one other granddaughter. There is one sister; Shirley and her husband Randy Crawford of Albert Lea, one brother Kelvin and his wife Kathy Attig of Albert Lea. Many other relatives and friends survive.
Cindy was preceded in death by her father Lyle Attig, grandparents; William and Lorene Schwartz, Ernest and Iris Attig, and mother-in-law Beverly Crawford.
