A memorial service for Connie Lorraine Monson (Christensen) will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Albert Lea, at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, with the Rev. Curtis Zieske officiating. Visitation will be one half hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery shortly after the service.

Connie died on Friday Aug. 25, 2006, with her family by her side. She was 58 years old.

Connie was born on Nov. 24, 1947, to Harvey Lowell and Alice Christensen. She attended Blooming Prairie and New Richland schools. Connie was a giver; she always put others before herself and was known to others as being gracious and having a big heart. She enjoyed spending time with the family, loved the holidays and watching her grandchildren play.

Connie is survived by her husband of 27 years, Michael Monson. She is also survived by her

daughter: Rhonda (Bruce) Baker of Prior Lake; her son: Dustin Schulz of Plymouth; three granddaughters: Jillian, Brooke and Danielle Baker; and one grandson: Braiden Schulz; one sister: Nancy Sickels of Albert Lea; five brothers: Darrell of Albert Lea, Mark of Ellendale, Lee (Diane) of New Richland, Scott of Albert Lea, and George &8220;Junior&8221; Johnson of Albert Lea; and many nieces and nephews.

Connie was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Lowell in 1962; stepfather, George Johnson in 1984; mother, Alice Carmen in 2004; and grandparents Otto and Carmen Thompson and Harvey and Josephine Christensen.
