Kenneth Lunning, 73, of Oshkosh

Kenneth Lunning, age 73, a former resident of Albert Lea, died Wednesday morning July 26 at his home in Oshkosh, Wis.
He was born June 20, 1933 in Clarks Grove, Minn., graduated from Ellendale High School in Ellendale Minn., attended Mankato State College, served in the United States Marine Corps, and spent his entire career in the wood products industry. Ken was employed at Weyerhaeuser Company, Albert Lea, and Cottage Grove, Ore., and Structural Wood Corporation, Vadnais Heights, Minn.&160;
Ken retired and moved to Oshkosh in 2001 with his family. Ken was an avid sports fan and enjoyed golfing and fishing. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Ken was a very caring, patient, kind person and was always willing to help others.&160;
Ken is survived by his wife Lorraine; son Kevin of Oshkosh, Wis., daughters Michelle (Mark) Luebke of Oshkosh, Wis., Laura (Arthur) Massey of Coral Gables, Fla., sister Marian Traverso of El Sorbante, Calif., granddaughters Grace and Emily Luebke of Oshkosh, Wis., many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and three sisters.&160;
Ken will be remembered in a private memorial service in Oshkosh, Wis., with a private burial service in Ellendale, Minn. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in memory of him.
