The United Methodist Church is starting a Community Children’s Church Choir for singers in grades 3-6. Because many churches are not able to offer a church youth choir, this choir will be open to participants from churches of all faiths, not already offering a children’s choir. Participating churches sending young singers will be on a rotation to sing at their church sometime during the year. There will not be any fee to the singers, however there will be a small charge to each participating congregation to help cover the cost of music and other expenses. Registration and a parent meeting will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday in the music room at United Methodist Church, Albert Lea.
