Judith Wombold, 88, of Albert Lea

Memorial services for Judith S. Wombold, age 88, of Albert Lea, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 27, at the First Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Dwight Netzer will officiate. Visitation is one hour prior to the services at the church.
Judith died Friday, May 19, 2006, at the Albert Lea Medical Center.
Judith Scharlotte Wombold was born April 5, 1918, to Robert L. and Bertha D. (Tuke) Reynolds in Hot Springs, Va. She grew up in Virginia and moved to Ohio during her years in high school. On Feb. 14, 1942, Judith was united in marriage to Floyd Wombold in Lorain, Ohio. The couple came to Albert Lea in 1977, when Floyd was transferred here. Judith was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Floyd; her son, Floyd Wombold Jr.; daughter, Scharlotte and her husband, Daniel Rich; grandchildren, Sarah Rich Forney and her husband, Steve, and Stephanie Rich; great-grandchildren: Sean Rich, Amanda Forney, Emily Forney, and Allison Forney; and brother, Gray Sprinkle.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Presbyterian Food Pantry or the Multipurpose Room Expansion.
