Terry Claussen, 45, of Champlin

The memorial service for Terry Claussen of Champlin, Minn., will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea. The Rev. Curtis Zieske will officiate. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel, Albert Lea.

Terry died Wednesday,

May 17, 2006, at Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids. He was 45 years old.

Terry was born Nov. 28, 1960, in Albert Lea, to Forrest Claussen and Darlene Faber. He grew up in Albert Lea and later moved to the Minneapolis area. Terry attended Albert Lea High School. Terry married Audrey Arends on July 1, 1995. He worked for Metro Hardwood as a warehouse manager. Terry liked car racing, fishing and camping. Terry’s family was very important to him.

Terry is survived by his wife Audrey of Champlin, Minn.; six children: Sammy, Alexis, Danielle, Jackie, Brandon and Cole, all at home; parents: Darlene Faber of Albert Lea and Forrie Claussen and his wife Gretchen of Albert Lea; sister: Cherie Seuser and her husband Andy of Albert Lea and their children, Christopher, Charlie, Morgan, Alex and Forrest; brother: Scott Claussen of Cottage Grove; sister-in-law: Cheryl Claussen of Ohio and her children: Nicole, Stevie, John II; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Terry was preceded in death by his brother John.

Terry’s younger years were full of struggle, but as he grew up he became a good man who loved his family, especially his wife and kids.
