Panthers post solid scores

NEW RICHLAND &045; Both the New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva boys’ and girls’ golf teams had meets versus Blooming Prairie on Thursday.

The boys from NRHEG played very well shooting 183 for the meet, but fell just short BP’s mark of 177.

Jon Kormann and Seth Hansen led the team with scores of 44. Andrew Harrington shot a 47 and Josh Beatty shot 48.

Beatty has put together a string of six consecutive rounds in the 40s.

The girls beat Blooming Prairie by a final score of 212-231. They improve their record to 12-1

this season.

Mariah Trappe led the way for NRHEG with a score of 49 one stroke over the leader in the meet.

Hannah Demmer and Katie Walstrom both finished the day with 53s. Paige Sorenson shot a 57.

The girls host Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton and Waseca on Tuesday.
