Genora Rossing, 79

Genora Mae Johnson Rossing, age 79, died on Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at the Albert Lea Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, May 5, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Bode, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 4, from 5 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, Minn. And visitation will occur one hour before the funeral in Bode, Iowa, at the Church.
Genora was born Aug. 15, 1926 near Hardy, Iowa, to Amos and Eva (Axdahl) Johnson. She married Conrad Rossing on March 4, 1946. She is survived by her husband Conrad, daughter Marlys (husband Ray) Yokiel of Wells, daughter-in-law Sharon Rossing of Decorah, Iowa, six grandchildren: Casey Saeger (husband Mike and step-daughter MaKenna), Andrew Rossing, Laura Yokiel (fianc Brad Helferich), Matthew Yokiel, Karen Yokiel, Beth Yokiel, and one brother Don Johnson of Bode, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Dale in October 2005 and two brothers.
Genora was a very active member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Bode. Recently the couple had moved to Wells and joined Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
