Randolph downs NRHEG 2-0

RANDOLPH &045;&160;Randolph took advantage of NRHEG errors and got a couple of timely hits to win, 2-0.

Randolph took the lead in the fourth using a base hit and an error and added the second run in the sixth with a home run.

&8220;Randolph made the plays and got the hits and we didn’t,&8221; said NRHEG head coach Grant Berg.

Gina Quiram and Alicia Johnson had the Panthers’ only two hits in the game.

Molly Hacker took the loss giving up eight hits, struck out two and did not issue a walk.

NRHEG got runners on third base twice in the game but could not bring them home.

The loss moved the Panthers to 8-4 overall and 5-2 in conference play.
