Anina Hultman, 87, Albert Lea

The funeral service for Anina B. Hultman of St. John’s Lutheran Home will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John’s Lutheran Home. The Rev. Jeff Laeger-Hagemeister will officiate. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea, and one hour before the service at the church.

Anina died Friday, April 7, 2006, at the Albert Lea Medical Center. She was 87 years old.

Anina was born Aug. 25, 1918, in South Dakota to Christopher and Clara Madsen. She grew up in Myrtle and later moved to Albert Lea. Anina graduated from Albert Lea High School. Anina married Melvin Hultman in 1942 in Omaha, Neb.

She worked as a waitress for the Skyline Cafeteria. Anina liked reading and listening to music. Her special love was for her grandchildren and her family.

Anina is survived by her children: Betty Rupp of Las Vegas, Nev., Kathy Jorgenson and her husband Jim of Owatonna, Cindy Gordon and her husband Tom of Albert Lea, Robert Hultman of Fort Collins, Colo., Jane Piz and her husband Dale of Windsor, Colo., Diane Bollig of Fort Collins, Colo., Pat Matson and her husband Quentin of Albert Lea; 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren;

sister: Florence Pangburn of Casa Grande, Ariz. and cousins, nieces and nephews.

Anina was preceded in death by her parents; husband Melvin in 1990, three sisters, one brother and great-granddaughter Kassi Haskins.
