ALDEN — Former students who attended a country school south of Alden and west of Conger will hold an all-school reunion this weekend in Alden.

Former students of School District 130 will gather at noon Saturday at the Main Street Bar & Grill in Alden. Anyone who attended that country school is welcomed.

The district came to an end in the 1950s when many rural districts across Minnesota and Iowa consolidated with districts that had cities.
