The Panthers were down by four at halftime, but could not make the push they needed in the second half.

Joe McGuire led the Panthers with 15 points and Phil Olson added 11.

&8220;We got off to a slow start but played well during a comeback,&8221; said NRHEG head coach Matt Eppen.

&8220;Unfortunately, we fell short.&8221;

WEM had a big advantage at the free throw line where it nearly made as many as the Panthers attempted.

The Panthers are back in action tonight when they host Blooming Prairie.
