Man injured after motorcycle crash

A 50-year-old Albert Lea man was injured Sunday evening after he reportedly lost control of his motorcycle, went off the road and landed in the west ditch on Minnesota Highway 13 north of Albert Lea.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Robert W. Hillmer was reportedly southbound on Highway 13 at 5:14 p.m. when he went off the road in his 2004 Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
He was reportedly transported to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
His injuries were not life-threatening.
Vehicles damaged
Windows were reported broken out on two vehicles at Action Auto, 1010 Ramsey St., at 12:02 p.m. Friday, according to reports.
A vehicle was reported damaged at 1326 S. Broadway Ave. at 12:54 a.m. Sunday, according to reports.
The back window of a car and the mirror of another car at 522 Freeborn Ave. were reported broken at 11:38 a.m. Sunday, according to reports.
A vehicle was reported damaged at 702 Freeborn Ave. at noon Sunday.
A car at 921 S. First Ave. was reported damaged at 4:32 p.m. Sunday, according to reports.
Mirrors were reported ripped off of a vehicle at 1614 Portland Ave. at 7:52 p.m. Sunday, reports stated.
Brush fire reported
A small brush fire was reported at 18948 Sharon Ave. in Albert Lea at 1:45 p.m. Saturday, according to reports. The Albert Lea Township Fire Department responded, but the owner reportedly had the fire out on his own by 1:50 p.m.
Air compressor stolen
An air compressor was reported stolen from a garage at 503 Edgewood Ave. at 7:39 a.m. Saturday, reports stated.
