Beverly Emrud, 69, of Apache Junction, Ariz.

Services for Beverly Emrud were held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005, at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Apache Junction, Ariz.
She passed away at her home in Arizona on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005. She had courageously battled lupus for several years.
Beverly was born in Freeborn County on Nov. 3, 1936, to James and Dorothy Jacobs. She had four brothers: Robert, Dennis, Howard and Richard.
She married Curtis Emrud on Oct. 7, 1955, They had four children: Lynn Fortner, Valerie Yost, Gene Emrud and Glenn Emrud. She had six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She and Curtis farmed near Manchester until retirement. Since retirement they have spent winters in Arizona. She loved traveling, camping, singing and spending time with her family. She had a great love for life.
She is survived by her husband, Curtis; three children: Lynn, Valerie and Gene; four brothers: Robert and wife Mavis Jacobs, Dennis and his wife Sharon Jacobs, Howard and his wife Glenda Jacobs, and Richard Jacobs; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: James and Dorothy; and son, Glenn.
Beverly will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
