GARNER &045; The Lake Mills volleyball team breezed into the next round of postseason play with a convincing 25-17, 25-12, 25-14 victory over Belmond-Klemme, Tuesday night.
The Bulldogs’ offensive attack was very well balanced with Megan Pederson leading the way with 15 kills, Caitlin Moore added 13 and Naomi Pederson had six.
&8220;This allows us to go to many people and force the other team to focus on three or four different weapons,&8221; said Lake Mills head coach Jim Boehmer.
Moore would lead the team in blocks with four, Jennie Finer added 35 assists and Melissa Brackey had 10 digs on the night.
&8220;We started strong in game one,: said Boehmer.
&8220;We wanted to be offensive and take our game to B-K.
This was the third consecutive district title for the Bulldogs and their ninth in the last 14 years.
Lake Mills will face the winner of the match between Clarion-Goldfield and AGWSR in Clarion Thursday.
