Lorraine Peek, 77, Albert Lea

Memorial services for Lorraine Rita Peek, of Albert Lea, will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, at St. Theodore Catholic Church. The Rev. Jim Berning and Deacon Mike Ellis will officiate. Friends may gather from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Bonnerup Funeral Service on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2005. Interment will be in St. Theodore Catholic Cemetery.

Mrs. Peek died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005, at her home in Albert Lea. She was 77 years of age.

Lorraine was born on Aug. 3, 1928, in East Chain, Minn., the daughter of Stanley and Mary (Maday) Petrowiak. She attended high school in East Chain and beautician school in Fairmont. She moved to Albert Lea about 10 years before her marriage to Gerald (Judd) Peek on Sept. 8, 1956. Lorraine was employed as a beautician at the Skinner-Chamberlain Store for many years. She was later employed at Mrs. Gerry’s Kitchen.

Lorraine was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. Her favorite time was spent with her grandchildren.

Lorraine is survived by her children: Mark and his wife Theresa of Seattle, Wash., Neil and his

wife Ronda of Stillwater, Okla., and Kevin and his wife Patty of Albert Lea; and grandchildren: Andrew, Emily, Taylor, Rachel, Natalie, Olivia, Rebekah, Ethan and Grace. Also surviving is one brother, Duane and his wife Sandra Petrowiak of Fairmont; and one nephew and two nieces.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents and husband Judd in 2005.
