Rebels show well at Duluth

DULUTH &045; The USC/AC cross country teams travelled to Duluth Saturday for the Swain Invitational.
The varsity boys, led by Eric Youngblom (12th) finished seventh as a team among the 38 teams
competing.
Brad Tomschin finished 24th and Jacob Elmer was 45the for the Rebels.
The girls, led by eighth grader Amber Erickson
finished 16th among the 39 teams.
Joelle Elmer took 84th and Becca Bryson was 88th.
Warroad won the boys’ team race while Adrian took the girls.
The boys junior varsity, led by the first place finish of sophomore Sam Hallman,
lost by one point to the JV team from Osceola,
Wisconsin.
The Rebels next meet will be the &uot;No Frills&uot; meet at Oakview Golf Club near Freeborn on Tuesday, Oct. 11.
