Fure helps USC down MCW

Nick Fure delivered in the bottom of the tenth inning with the game winning RBI to push United South Central legion baseball team past Martin County West 5-4 Wednesday in Truman.
Fure also threw four innings of relief and struck out seven to earn the win.
Steven Zehms took the loss for MCW as he went nine innings and struck out 11.
At the plate, William Huppert had the game tying home-run in the sixth inning and recorded three RBI.
A.J. Dreyer also had a double and an RBI for USC while Nick Fure went 2-for-5 with the game winning RBI.
“It was a really good baseball game,” United South Central Legion baseball coach Pat Frank said. ” It just took us a while to win it.”
USC is back in action on Thursday in Truman against Lake Crystal.
