After a loss to Houston Thursday, the Glenville-Emmons boys’ golf team used a strong team effort to defeat LeRoy-Ostrander 193-201 Friday in LeRoy.

The Wolverines were led by seniors Cody Huston and Zach Wangen.

Huston was the medalist at the meet, shooting a 44, while Wangen was right behind with a 46.

Rounding out the scoring for Glenville-Emmons was Josh Minear, who shot a 50 and Blake Lundmark, who recorded a 53.

The Wolverines will be back on the course Monday, as they travel to Lanesboro.
