Gladys Raimer, 94, Albert Lea

Funeral services for Gladys L. Raimer, age 94, of Albert Lea, will be held 2
p.m. Wednesday, April 13, at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home. Tim Hellie will
officiate. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to the
services at the chapel.
Gladys died Saturday, April 9, 2005, at the Albert Lea Medical Center.
Gladys Luella Raimer was born April 30, 1910, to Lauritz and Gina (Nelson) Peterson in Manchester Township. She attended rural schools and was a lifelong resident of Freeborn County. In the early 1930s, Gladys was united in marriage to Ralph E. Raimer. She was a Watkins dealer and cleaned houses. Gladys was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses and especially enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include her brothers: Arvill and Kenneth Peterson; sisters: Alpha Brekke and Myrtle Bomer; and nieces and nephews.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph; brother, Norman Peterson; and sisters: Alice Christenson and Harriet Treuter.
