Funeral services for Robert “Bob” Ray Hendrickson will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, at Bonnerup Funeral Service. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
Bob died peacefully at his home in Albert Lea, surrounded by his Crest family and friends.
Bob was born in Albert Lea, on May 12, 1953, the son of Herman and Agnes (Iverson) Hendrickson. He attended Albert Lea schools.
Bob had worked at Cedar Valley Services for 24 years, retiring in 2004.
He enjoyed making many crafts, especially his plastic canvas coin purses, coasters and beaded necklaces. Of the many beautiful crafts Bob made, he lovingly shared with his Crest family and friends. These were his gifts to all of us. Bob also enjoyed his camping and fishing trips to northem Minnesota with his fishing buddies, Pat and Nikki Everett and family. He loved music and enjoyed singing and dancing. He was happiest when his little buddie Garrett came to visit him. He spent many holidays, with Janice Schroader and family.
Bob is survived by numerous Crest family and friends, and his housemates Gilmore, Keith and Jeremiah.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother in infancy and his brother Gerald “Jerry” Hendrickson.
Bob touched so many of us with his gentle heart and special smile. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and cared for him.
Blessed be his memory.
