Caroleann R. Lohman, 70, Austin

Caroleann R. Lohman, age 70, of Austin, died at St. Mark’s Lutheran Home on Thursday evening, Jan. 20, 2005.
Caroleann was born in Albert Lea on Jan. 14, 1935, to Sigmund and Evelyn (Olson) Aase. In 1951 she married Ed Sheimo, had four children, and moved to Austin in 1958 where she resided until her divorce and later marriage to Art Lohman. Caroleann and Art moved to Chatfield and then Arkansas until their divorce in 1990. She then returned to her hometown of Austin where she spent the remainder of her days. Caroleann enjoyed fly fishing, reading, attending movies and spending time with her family.
Survivors include one daughter, Larkie Sheimo; three sons: Paul Sheimo, Daniel (Rose) Sheimo, and David Sheimo, all of Austin; eight grandchildren: Kristie, Amanda, Alex, Andrew, Cassandra, Angela, Carley and Matt; two great-grandchildren;
sister, Peggy (Dale) Indrelie, and brother, Larry (Sharon) Aase, all of Albert Lea; three step daughters: Sid (Kerry) Schroeder of Claremont, and Lynn Roth and Leslie Lohman of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents: Sig and Evelyn Aase; and stepson, Tom Lohman.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. today, Jan. 25, at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel, Austin. with the Rev. Greg Mannel officiating. Friends may greet the family one hour before the service. There will be no reviewal.
Memorials are preferred to the family.
