“The Cobra Conspiracy,” the latest novel by Roger A. Naylor, has been awarded a top-four finalist award for the Reader Views 2010 Awards in the mystery/thriller/suspense genre by reviewers for this leading review association, known for its coverage of independent publications.
As in Naylor’s other “common man” novels, protagonist Buck Barnum makes a major decision, the best he can with the knowledge he has at the moment. He takes a job in public relations for a shipyard’s new high-tech ship project. But as he gets into the job, the opposition he encounters gives new meaning to public relations, and he finds himself as point man against a coalition of green group activists and syndicate thugs. Sabotage gives way to murder, and everything is reduced to survival.
The novel has received several five-star reviews on Amazon.com and excellent endorsements that can be found on the author’s website: www.rogeranaylor.com, along with sample chapters of “The Cobra Conspiracy,” “A Paper Statue” and “Black Rock Bay.”
