A fire was reported in a field at 24944 700th Ave. near Manchester at 2:03 p.m. Saturday, according to reports.
2 injured in crash
Two people were injured Saturday afternoon after a vehicle went off the road and hit an embankment south of Albert Lea
According to reports, Albert Leans Johnny Paul Delossantos and Nathan Stenzel were transported by ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea.
Reports stated Delossantos, the driver, reportedly fell asleep, went off the road and hit an embankment on gravel 745th Avenue, near its intersection with County Road 13.
The crash took place at 3:53 p.m. Saturday.
Police respond to incident on school bus
Albert Lea police responded to an incident on an Albert Lea Bus Co. school bus at 3:33 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Clark Street and Newton Avenue. Look to the Tribune for more information on this incident as it becomes available.
Two cited for DWI
Police cited Gregory James Henderson, 47, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at the intersection of Columbus Avenue and East Main Street in Albert Lea at 9:44 p.m. Friday, according to reports.
Police cited Jason Lee Pestorious, 40, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated and fraudulent use of plates after a traffic stop at 1:03 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Garfield Avenue and East Main Street, reports stated.
Two cited for violations
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited Douglas Michael Blouin for third-degree test refusal, drug paraphernalia, a small amount of marijuana and open container violations after a traffic stop at 32522 780th Ave. west of Geneva, according to reports. Also cited was Cody Douglas Blouin for open bottle violations.
Three cited for minor consumption
Police cited Lars Isaac Gjersvik, 20, and Harrison Neil Gjersvick, 19, for minor consumption after a traffic stop at 10:28 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Fountain Street and North Second Avenue in Albert Lea, according to reports.
Police cited Rebekah Jean Swancutt, 20, for minor consumption after a traffic stop at 11:27 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of East Main Street and Pillsbury Avenue, reports stated.
Stolen ATVs found
Two stolen ATVs were recovered behind Southtown Liquor, 1018 S. Broadway Ave. at 6:17 p.m. Saturday, according to reports.
