Funeral services for Ella Mae Olson, age 80, of Conger will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 30, at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Conger Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. today, Sunday, at Bayview and one hour prior to the services on Monday.

Ella Mae died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.

Ella Mae Olson was born April 11, 1924, in Alden, the daughter of Joseph and Stella (Jensen) Kraushaar. She attended Alden area schools. Ella Mae married Archie L. Olson in Albert Lea on Aug. 16, 1942. Four children were born to them, Ramona, Ruth Ann, Roger, and Ross. Ella Mae was a lifelong resident of Conger. She had worked at Land 0’Lakes in Albert Lea and at the Conger Meat Market.

Survivors include her son, Ross Olson of Conger; sister, Helen Brigston and brothers, Roy Kraushaar and his wife Susan and Lloyd and his wife Delores, all of Albert Lea; grandchildren, Rick and his wife Mary Willert, Scott and his wife Lori Willert, and Stacy and his wife Anita Willert, all of northern Iowa, Ralene Rippentropp of Northwood, Angie Rettke of Hibbing, and Lonnie and his wife Julie Rippentropp, also of Hibbing; son-in-law, Carroll Willard of Forest City; great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Ella Mae was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Archie in 1989; children, Ruth Ann, Ramona, and Roger; her brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Delores Kraushaar; and brother-in-law, Harry Brigston.

Ella Mae will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
