The second annual American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life is scheduled from 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13, until 6 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds.
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a community gathering where everyone can join in the fight against cancer and help raise money for research, education, advocacy, and patient services.
One of the many events taking place during the Relay for Life is the silent auction planned from 6 to 9 p.m. Bidders must be present at 9 p.m. to be awarded the item.
Local businesses and organizations have donated items and gift certificates that will go to the highest silent auction bidder.
Everyone is welcome to come out to the Relay for Life, the event is free and there are many activites for children and adults.
It’s not too late for your company to donate to the silent auction.
