The memorial service for Elizabeth Mary Anderson of Albert Lea will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea. Mike Ellis will officiate. Visitation with be one hour before the service.

She died Sunday, Feb. 29, 2004, at her home. She was 82 years old.

Elizabeth was born Dec. 23, 1921, at Buffalo Center, Iowa, to Robert and Sophie Wilkens. She graduated from high school in Iowa and came to Albert Lea about 50 years ago. She worked as a waitress and also worked for St. John’s Lutheran Home and Thorne Crest Retirement Center. Elizabeth enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, and especially enjoyed her grandchildren.

Elizabeth is survived by her three children: Debbie Wenlund of Elk River, Minn., and her children, Heidi, Jennie and Bradley; Mike Beaver and his wife Cindy of Priest River, Idaho, and their daughter, Shelly; and Greg Beaver and his wife Lois of Emmons and their children, Gene and Stacie; and sisters: Margaret Kalkbrenner of Iowa and Peg Honzik of Arkansas.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents and other siblings.
