Thomas Madson, 93, Glenville

The funeral service for Thomas Madson of Glenville will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Lutheran Church, Glenville. The Rev. Mark Wendland will officiate. Interment will be in Lime Creek Cemetery, Emmons. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Bonnerup Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Thomas was born July 11, 1910, in Winnebago County, Iowa, to John and Betsy (Vaale) Madson. He lived in the Twin Lakes and Glenville area. Thomas married Sally Seim in 1934 at Lime Creek Lutheran Church. He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Glenville. Thomas farmed and hauled US Mail on the Star Route. Thomas enjoyed watching birds, being with his dog, and he especially enjoyed being with his family.
Thomas is survived by his son, David Madson and his wife Runette of Glenville; daughter, Sandra Fredrickson and her husband Dave of Glenville; son, Tommy Madson and his wife Janice of Glenville; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Norby of Albert Lea; and several nieces and nephews.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents: John and Betsy; wife, Sally; and several brothers and sisters.
