Elks boys’ basketball registration Oct. 6

There will be a sign-up and informational meeting for all boys in grades 4-8 interested in being on a traveling basketball team on Monday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. in the Southwest Middle School cafeteria.

ALYHA board to meet Wednesday

The Albert Lea Youth Hockey Association will hold its monthly board meeting Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the City Arena.

NR Fall Golf Classic Saturday

NEW RICHLAND &045; The Fall Classic Three-Man Best-Shot Golf Tournament is set for Saturday, Sept. 27 at Riverview Golf Course near New Richland.

Cost is $105 per team or $35 per person, $10 cart fee, $5 skins. Proceeds benefit the Quad Cities Baseball Association. To register, call Riverview at (507) 465-3516.

QB Club to meet

The Albert Lea Quarterback Club (football boosters) will meet Monday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. at the Elks Club. All parents and interested community members are invited.
