The Freeborn County Jaycees are collecting winter clothing through Nov. 15 for people in need this winter season.

Items needed include winter coats, hats, scarves, mittens and boots.

All sizes will be accepted but sizes with the greatest need are children’s sizes 5 through 12.

Items should be new or gently used and can be dropped off at Nelson’s Market Place, Hy-Vee, Wells Federal Bank, American Bank in both Albert Lea and Alden, Home Federal Bank, Citizen’s State Bank in Glenville, Caldwell Banker, Litho Printing and Albert Lea Tribune.

Donations will benefit children of Albert Lea and surrounding area schools.
