Russell Kenneth Amundson, 77, formerly of Glenville

A graveside service for Russell Kenneth Amundson, age 77, of Clackamas, Ore., will be 2 p.m. today, Aug. 13, at Pleasant View Cemetery in Logan, Ore.

He died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2003.

Russell was born on April 6, 1926, in Glenville.

He married Elnora Jones in Eugene, Ore., on Nov. 18, 1950, and lived there until the late 1960s. He had lived in the Clackamas area for over 35 years. He was employed as a truck driver for Southern Pacific Trucking. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He is survived by two daughters: Linda Bell and Diane Effinger; three sons: Tony Amundson, Steve Amundson and Dan Amundson; sister, Dorothy Johnson; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elnora, in 2002.

Stehn’s Milwaukie Funeral Home, Milwaukie, Ore., is in charge of arrangements.
