Orville Johnson, 67, of 72868 255th St., Albert Lea, was injured about 1:55 p.m. Thursday when a tractor he was using to mow a lawn with a steep slope rolled over, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Department.
The report says Johnson was trapped under the tractor. A neighbor saw the tipped-over tractor, called 9-1-1, then went to get another tractor to help free Johnson.
Johnson was taken to Albert Lea Medical Center, then transferred to a hospital in Rochester.
A spokeswoman for Mayo Health System in Rochester said today that Johnson is in fair condition.
