Ronald Baumann

Ronald Dean Baumann was born in Lakota, Iowa, the son of George and Bessie (Steele) Baumann. Ronald attended Lakota Public School. He and his wife Judy moved to Albert Lea where he farmed and drove heavy construction trucks until he retired.
Ronald was united in marriage with his wife Judith Garver of Thompson, Iowa. From this marriage they were blessed with two children, Jeffrey and Lori.
Ronald enjoyed traveling, playing cards with his many friends at Maple Hill Apartments. As well as going to his grandchildren’s sporting and other school events and spending time with his family.
Ronald is survived by his two children: Jeffrey Baumann of Albert Lea and Lori (Todd) Conroy of Mason City, Iowa; five grandchildren: MacKenzie, Mallory and Dana Baumann and Kayla and Codi Thompson; three sisters: Karen (Harold) Wagenaar of Sheldon, Iowa, Ruth (Norb) Park of Marshalltown, Iowa, and Barbara (Steve) Kabe of Estherville, Iowa; two brothers: August (Cheryl) Baumann of Buffalo Center, Iowa, and Harold (Janice) Baumann of Blue Earth; sister-in-laws: Frieda Baumann and Helen Baumann; daughter-in-law, Dyann Baumann; his special friend, Ann Cooper, and many nieces and nephews.
He is proceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Ernie Sr. and Kenneth Baumann; granddaughter, Kacy Jo Thompson; and one nephew, Dennis Baumann.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Buffalo Center. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
