A local DFL Party member wrote a recent letter claiming what accomplishments the DFL incumbents have done. In reading the letter submitted, if that is their accomplishments, then there is no question that they have done nothing and it is time for them to go.

Passing a virtual government takeover of healthcare an accomplishment? Remember President Obama stated we could keep our own and this would be paid for? But we are finding out that it will cost significant more and more than half of all Americans will lose their current coverage. I would not call that an accomplishment. Congressman Tim Walz voted for that fiscal disaster and it is time for him to go.

The local accomplishments don’t have anything to do with your local representatives, and even if they, did what happened to taking care of the budget deficit and jobs as the No. 1 priorities? The letter writer takes shots at Gov. Tim Pawlenty because like the national Democrats it is much easier to distract and make excuses than accept responsibility or actually lead. Is it any wonder why two years after Bush is out of office they still blame Bush for everything?

So if you like spending and spending and no way to pay for it your incumbents Dan Sparks and Robin Brown are the right choice for you. If you like politicians who, instead of reprioritizing spending, pass billion-dollar, job-killing tax increases, then Sparks and Brown are for you. If you are for politicians who will not accept that government should cut back in the worst recession in most of our lifetime like you and I have had to do, than they are the right choice for you.

It is time to send new voices in Kathy Green and Rich Murray to St. Paul that will stand up for the taxpayers, families and businesses they represent in Senate District 27 and House District 27A, not the special interests the DFL incumbents vote for instead.
