Michael A. ‘Mike’ Zamora McCarty, 35, Tempe, Ariz.

Funeral services for Michael A. &uot;Mike&uot; Zamora McCarty of Tempe, Ariz., will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 10, at St. Theodore Catholic Church, Albert Lea. The Rev. Robert Schneider will officiate. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 9, 2003, from 4-8 p.m. at the Bonnerup Funeral Service and one hour prior to the service in the church. Interment will be in St. Theodore Catholic Cemetery.
Michael was called to be with our Lord on March 29, 2003, in Tempe from complications of a heart attack. He was 35 years of age.
Michael was born Dec. 12, 1967, in Albert Lea, the son of Michael H. and Mary L. Zamora.. At the age of 3, Michael moved to Arizona and graduated from high school in Chandler. He was employed by the San Amena Company as a chipboard operator in communications. Michael enjoyed sports and was active in softball and football. He was also very artistic and loved to draw.
Michael is survived by his mother, Mary Louise Zamora of River Falls, Wis.; sister, Shelly and her husband, Brian Schriver of Dallas, Texas; niece and nephew, Sierra and Brian Schriver of Dallas; uncles: Tim McCarty of Phoenix, Ariz., Art Zamora of Mesa, Ariz., and John and Jacob Zamora of Albert Lea; one aunt, Pauline Aske of Albert Lea, and numerous cousins.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Michael; grandparents: Lawrence (Doris) McCarty and John (Andrea) Zamora; uncles: Pat McCarty, Jesse, Joseph, Daniel, Richard and David Zamora; and one aunt, Ofilia Zamora.
Michael was a kind and loving person who will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends.
