Thelma E. Stevens Hochreiter, age 87, of Hot Springs Village, Ark., passed away Monday, March 17, 2003, at a local hospital.
She was born March 20, 1915, in Albert Lea, to the late Arthur and Edith Stevens. Thelma was a homemaker and a member of the Hot Springs Village United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Village Church Circle, and the Singles Club at the church.
She is survived by two sons: Blair Hochreiter and his wife Joyce of Hot Springs Village, and Dale Hochreiter and his wife Janis of Panora, Iowa; one daughter, Nancy Crandall of Springfield, Mo.; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Hochreiter; and two brothers: Lyle and Floyd Stevens.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Springfield, Mo.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Battered Women’s Organization.
