Albert Lea stabbing victim identified

The Albert Lea man stabbed to death Saturday in an apartment in St. Paul has been identified by authorities.

According to the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office, the man has been identified as 40-year-old Po Lye.

Lye was found by St. Paul police in an apartment building near the intersection of Farrington Street and West Arlington Avenue after dispatchers received a 911 call of a stabbing just after 7 a.m. Saturday.

He died shortly after.

Officers also found a 40-year-old woman critically injured by stab wounds. The woman, identified as Paw Pree, 40, of St. Paul was transported to Regions Hospital where she is being treated.

A St. Paul man, Pah Ber, 48, has been arrested in connection with the stabbings.
