The Ladies Aid of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of Albert Lea met in Luther Hall on June 10. Hostesses were Lee Bjelland and Maren Ring.

The Rev. Wayne Halvorson continued the study of the early beginnings of music and hymns in the church. The members joined in singing “Shepherd of Tender Youth.”

President Maren Ring opened the business meeting and thanked all who attended and helped with the farewell brunch for Vicar Jeff and Megan Merseth.

The air conditioner for the vicar’s office will be installed before the new vicar arrives. The ladies aid pay for the labor and materials involved in the installation.

The group will be helping with bingo at Good Samaritan Center on July 14. Lee Bjelland and Maren Ring volunteered to help with this event. Others will be contacted.

There will be a welcome brunch for the new vicar following the services on July 11.
