Karen Mehle holds the book &uot;Choose to Care,&uot; which

the United Way handed out in the school districts in Freeborn

County for kids to read. The book focuses on a mentor and his

relationship with the child he is spending time with. Mehle volunteers

with the Community Mentor Connection.
