Eugene F. Sonnek, age 93, of Minnesota Lake, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, at his home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Minnesota Lake The Rev. Thomas Cook will officiate. Visitation will be at the Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home In Minnesota Lake on Thursday, Feb. 6, from 5-8 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m., and visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.

Jerry Lee Alvey, age 70 of Lake Mills, Iowa, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa in Mason City, Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, at Salem Lutheran Church in Lake Mills. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday. Mittelstadt Funeral Home, Lake Mills, is in charge of arrangements.

The funeral service for Michael S. Langerud, age 28, of Scarville, Iowa, will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Salem Lutheran Church in Lake Mills, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Mittelstadt Funeral Home, Lake Mills, and again one hour before the service at the church. Michael Langerud passed away Saturday Feb. 1,

as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
