The Education Foundation of Albert Lea Area Schools has identified Dec. 31 as the deadline for nominations for the 2012 Distinguished Alumni honors.

The simple nomination form is available on the foundation website at www.efal-us.org. Biographies of all the previous honorees are available on the same website.

Additionally, notebooks with the biographies of all previous years’ honorees are available for reading at the following locations: Albert Lea Public Library, Albert Lea High School Library and the Freeborn County Historical Museum.

The Education Foundation Board of Directors will review all the nominations following the deadline, select the honorees, secure their acceptance of the honor and produce the biographies for the 2012 Pathways to Success banquet. Tentative plans are to hold the banquet on a Thursday evening in late September.
