Area deaths appearing in the Aug. 28, 2002 edition of the Albert Lea Tribune

Alvina Pierson, age 97, died today, Aug. 28, at St. John’s Lutheran Home. Arrangements are pending at the Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home.

Carol C. Springer, age 81, of Albert Lea, died Monday, Aug. 26, at the Albert Lea Medical Center. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Bonnerup Funeral Service, and one hour before services at the church.
