The Freeborn County Democratic Farmer Labor Party held its county convention on Sunday at the Moose Club.

John Butler and Mark Anderson were the conveners in charge of the convention.

Officers were elected as follows: Arthur Anderson, chairman; Roselyn Anderson, assistant chairwoman; Ellen Weinberg, secretary; Tim Peterson, treasurer.

Julie Ackland, Cathy Porter, Jeff Laeger-Hagemeister, Arthur and Roselyn Anderson, Mark and Taryn Israel Nechanicky, Tony Samudio, Steven Eide, Bob Haas, Joseph Brown Sr., Linda Kofstad, Terence Cunningham and Judy Hagen were elected as delegates and alternates.

Candidates R.T. Rybak, Paul Thissen, John Marty, Margaret Anderson-Kelliher, Tim Walz, Dan Sparks, Tom Bakk and Tony Rukavina were in attendance. Mark Ritchie and Rep. Robin Brown also attended.

The district DFL convention will be March 27 in Owatonna and the state DFL convention will be April 23-25 in Duluth.
