ALDEN &045; The newly organized Southern Minnesota Youth Football League will hold registration Thursday, Aug. 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the Alden-Conger school.

All fourth-, fifth- and sixth-grade students are eligible to play in this tackle football league. Registration forms and health questionnaires will need to be completed and signed by a parent or guardian. Equipment will be handed out and rules will be discussed at this meeting.

On Thursday, Sept. 5, there will be a required weigh-in at Janesville for all participants.

League play begins Sept. 7 and ends Oct. 14 with the SMYFL Super Bowl.
