Robert Peoble of Peoble Photography in Albert Lea recently attended the Nebraska Professional Photographers 2010 winter convention held in Grand Island, Neb.
The convention was attended by over 150 professional photographers from Nebraska and surrounding states. Peoble and his associate, Jeff Batterson from JB Frames, participated in the convention trade show and introduced the new line of custom frames, including the tri and quad frames that drew the attention of studios wanting something new in the framing lines. They also introduced 12 new molding contours.
Peoble was also able to attend lectures on advance techniques in Photoshop CS4 by one of the nations top instructors in layer management and design, and lectures on new styles of senior marketing. One in particular were the changes to the photographic industry due to the digital revolution.
The emphasis of the convention is to keep studios and professional photographers updated on changes in technology and what customers expect from professional studios today. The Peobles attend conventions and photographic seminars like this to keep up on new trends, styles and professional equipment available to the studios.
