Trinity Lutheran Church Women met on Dec. 7, 2011, in Trinity Hall for a Christmas Gathering.

Co-President Erna Berthelsen conducted the business meeting and welcomed the guests.

A Christmas song was sung in Norwegian/Dane the first verse and the rest was in English, by the guests. Accompaniment was by Pat Goldman. Devotions were given by Eleanor Schou. She read a story and prayer about Jesus.

Marcia Petersen, treasurer, presented the budget of 2012. A motion by Marlene Wright was made to accept the budget and the Rev. Marcia Hall seconded it.

Berthelsen, announced the group would meet on Jan. 4 at 9:30 a.m. and the workshop for all circle officers will be at 1:30 p.m. in the conference room.

A delicious lunch was served by Eunice Circle. Pat Hanson and Joan Mattick served as ushers. There were two offerings, the first one was for the Oak Mission in Oaks, Okla., to support orphan Indian children. The second offering was for the group to help with expenses.

Afterwards, everyone went to the sanctuary. Jan Drews introduced the Albert Lea High School Chorale, under the direction of Diane Heaney, who gave a Christmas concert.
